I am doing a small report on new technologies in Science. One topic that a student chose was the new difference in how cigarettes are made; self-outting.

I am having trouble thinking of something and your help would be extremely appreciated.
Please remember that this has to be a science topic. It’s for my Chemistry Course.

I need the important technologies used between 1775 and 1783. Also important pieces of literature?

I can tell you a little bit about Technologies used by blind people. They can either use special Braille computers or desktop/laptop computers with screen readers. (As far as I know, JAWS for Windows and VoiceOver for Mac are the most popular.) They also use cell phones with a speech program like MobileSpeak installed, and little media players like the Book Sense for reading audiobooks. I’ve even seen a remote that can scan an object and identify its color.

I need two Technologies that Jocelyn Bell Burnell used in findinding pulsars. I can only find one – the 81.5-megahertz radio telescope.

A principle of green chemistry is that the energy requirement of industrial processes should have minimal Environmental impact. How can the use of catalysts lead to “greener” technologies?

depends what catalyst of course
generally, a proper catalyst may spead up reaction so you can run it at lower temperatures and pressures thus requiring less energy and construction efforts
it can also decrease yield of byproducts, so less wastes form

A lot of good Technologies never make it to the market because of no funding or funders requiring control. We just want to help.

Do you ever consider new inventions not ever released? This is a new system and technology that still needs to be addressed, and it has mass appeal.
